ComPod is the answer for remote problems that you probably haven’t even considered yet. Both the ComPod and ComPod Mini are designed to offer complete commercial and residential shelter solutions for the most challenging conditions in Canada. All our shelters are purpose-built to be rugged, resilient, customizable, adaptable, transportable and connectable.
Sealed for your protection
ComPod’s modular, flat-pack design uses an aluminum frame and engineered corner blocks to connect frame components. The frame uses interfaces that accept SIP panels to form the walls, floor and ceiling. All corners are sealed with an integrated gasketing system that keeps moisture and weather outside where they belong.
ComPod Mini is built for three-season operation, but it can be upgraded to the same year-round protection as ComPod. Whatever you need it to be, and wherever you need it to go, ComPod has you covered.

Every portable, energy efficient ComPod unit is designed with a unique modular system that uses proprietary aluminum extrusions and structural insulated panels. Both the ComPod and ComPod Mini are completely customizable for a variety of uses. These include remote and mobile communications shelters, portable data centres, site buildings, industrial workshops, camp buildings, tiny houses, and more.

ComPod was inspired by the challenges of doing real work out in the real world. The ComPod team has direct knowledge of what it takes to engineer, deploy, maintain and monitor some of The North’s premier telecommunications equipment in exceptionally demanding conditions. Our collective experience goes back as far as 1972, and includes First Nations clients, territorial and municipal governments, public utilities, construction, mining and exploration, small businesses, and many more.
These decades of challenging remote work experience were reapplied as hands-on field research to engineer a mobile shelter that works as
hard as you do. After more than three years of intensive development, ComPod was born. Rather than modifying existing products, ComPod is scratch built from the ground up to be the shelter you need for your toughest days. It’s flexible enough to be customized, durable enough to outlast the elements, and smart enough to adapt to whatever the job needs next.
